WOW – The stage for young creatives: Call for entries 2026

In 2026, theevent format "WOW – The Stage for Young Creatives"will celebrate its fifth anniversary. Under the patronage of Susann Rüthrich, Children and Youth Commissioner of the Free State of Saxony, the anniversary edition will take placeon March 21, 2026, in Hafenstraße.

Young creative minds are warmly invited to participate with their own contributions. In previous years, participants have presented works in the fields of poetry slam, dance, music, painting, and theater, among others. New and cross-genre formats are also expressly welcome.

Participation is possible solo or as a group. We are looking for contributions such as concerts, dance or theater performances, exhibitions, and video formats. The duration of stage performances should be between 5 and 20 minutes.

Registration is possibleuntil February 26, 2026, by emailing wow@stadt-meissen.de.

The following information is required:

• Name of the participating person or ensemble
• contact information
• group size
• Duration of the contribution

One or two photos of the works are sufficient for exhibition contributions.

Note:"WOW – The Stage for Young Creatives" is not a competition.The focus is on creative exchange, trying out new ideas, and getting to know other young artists and cultural creators.

We look forward to receiving diverse and creative contributions for the fifth edition of WOW.
